Ford Mustang V6 gets 305 hp for 2011

The base Ford Mustang V6 has been the laughing stock of the sports car world since forever. It is so embarrassing that Ford doesn’t even bother offering it in the GCC. And yet, it is responsible for most Mustang sales in the United States, picked up by secretaries and hairdressers in droves. However, as long rumoured, Ford has finally injected the base car with respectable power, fitting it with a new 3.7-litre V6 engine that puts it in the thick of the competition.

Video of the week: Home-made CGI

A CGI amateur from Azerbaijan went ahead and created this elaborate computer-generated randomness of a video, featuring a Chevy Camaro, a modded Ford Mustang, a Russian VAZ and our all-time favourite 4×4, the Jeep Grand Cherokee. First drive: Ford Mustang 2010 UAE launch at Dubai Autodrome

The 2010 Ford Mustang GT made its official UAE debut at an event on July 16th in the Dubai Autodrome, even while the car is already on sale. Looking very familiar, it has been overshadowed by the 2010 Chevy Camaro, so much so that Ford Middle East recruited the Emirates Mustang Club to drum up support for the launch event. Being among so many Mustang fanboys is enough to passively intimidate anyone into saying only positive things about the pony car.
