The 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. Apparently named after a courageous bull, the light weight and new engine of the all-wheel drive Aventador will be more powerful and fuel-efficient than the Murcielago, the model its replacing.
Aston Martin’s range just got bigger. They have just launched the 2012 Aston Martin Virage Coupe and Virage Volante at the Geneva Motor Show. This takes its place in the Aston Martin sporting GT family between the DBS and DB9, although it looks like they designed it by modifying a picture of a DB9 on Photoshop.
Al-Futtaim Motors, the Lexus dealers in the UAE, is launching the 2012 Lexus CT 200h hybrid publicly with a free 3D show at The Walk in Jumeirah Beach Residence for Dubai residents. It takes place on March 3, from 7pm onwards and is open to all.

Peugeot has revealed the new 308. The 2012 Peugeot 308 gets a minor face-lift and some engine changes, improving fuel efficiency. A full debut will take place at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

If you have a basic TV package like we do, the only channels you’ll watch are the MBC ones, especially the excellent MBC Action channel. While all their shows are U.S. ones, they tried their hand at making an Arabic car show called Driven, which seemed to be a mixture of the worst parts of Top Gear, Pimp My Ride, MTV and Sesame Street. That awesome show (so awesome that Car Middle East gave the host an award out of sheer infatuation) just had its season finale, and the only good thing to come out of it was the winner for the Battle Of The Garages competition,
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority, better known as the RTA, has picked two more roads in Dubai to tack on Salik toll gates, in a proposal that has yet to be approved.
Mazda has revealed the 2012 Mazda 3. It gets a minor facelift, but the engine and transmission will be new, which will help gain better fuel efficiency numbers, but at the same time produce better low and mid-range torque.
Porsche plans to reveal their latest variant of the Panamera at the Geneva Auto Show. The 2011 Porsche Panamera S Hybrid will be the sixth model in the Panamera line-up. It will feature the same hybrid engine found in the Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid.
