Letters: Some good, some bad


Over the past month, I think I’ve received more than 100 emails asking for help on which car to buy, among letters of praise and criticism. I did reply to all of them personally, but I might have to start publishing only a select few from now on, as the barrage of e-letters per month is enough to fill a book. Cadillac has developed a station-wagon version of their CTS luxo-sport sedan. The midsize estate is really targeted towards the hatch-loving European market, where GM expects 60% of all CTS sales to be of this big-assed variety.

Honda unveils 2009 Acura TL in USA


Just as Lexus is to Toyota and Infiniti is to Nissan, Japanese carmaker Honda has a luxury brand in the United States called Acura, churning out unique cars since the early 90s. Their latest creation is the incredible 2009 Acura TL, and it is unfortunate that Honda does not intend to bring the Acura brand here.

J.D.Power survey shows best & worst reliability

J.D.Power survey shows best & worst reliability


American research firm J.D. Power and Associates has just released its 2008 Vehicle Dependability Study that measures vehicle quality in the first three years of owning a vehicle brand. The study also says that long-term vehicle quality has also improved 5% across the industry in 2008, with the industry average dropping 10 PP100 (problems per 100 vehicles) down to 206 this year.
